Just a quick newsletter this week, to announce my new book: ChatGPT for Language Teachers: The Ultimate Prompt Handbook for AI Productivity.
As someone who has been using ChatGPT since November last year, I’ve seen firsthand the incredible potential this technology holds for language teaching and learning.
Since then, I've been experimenting with ChatGPT to see what works and what doesn't for language teaching. I’ve written about it as well, about how AI can write your lesson plans, how language students should use AI, and how they can practice listening and speaking with ChatGPT.
I even delivered a webinar on integrating AI with language teaching with Trinity College London.
Through this process, I've become more and more excited about the potential of AI to transform the way we teach languages, and I want to bring everyone along for the ride.
That’s where this book comes in.
What’s in the book?
ChatGPT for Language Teachers is packed with prompts and strategies I've used to become more productive and effective. There are ChatGPT prompts for:
lesson planning and editing
classroom management
grading and marking
professional development
data analysis and admin
In short, you'll discover how ChatGPT can enhance every aspect of your teaching practice.
Where can I get it?
I've released "ChatGPT for Language Teachers" on Amazon as both a paperback and an ebook for a low price.
So grab your copy today!
I’ll be updating it regularly
Please use the prompts inside, experiment, and have fun!
If you’d like to share any prompts that you create that aren’t in the book, please send them to me, and I’ll include them in the next version, with all credit to you.
I’ll also be adding more prompts as I learn more, and the book will grow. So watch this space for an update.
Good luck and good teaching!
PS, one more thing:
I have the privilege of presenting in a charity webinar!
Here are the details, I hope to see you there:
